1 Chronicles 6:54-56
New International Reader's Version

54 Here were the places where they made their homes. These places were given to them as their territory. Some were given to the children of Aaron who were from the family group of Kohath. They were given out by casting lots. The first lot was for Kohath.

55 In Judah the Kohathites were given Hebron. They also received the grasslands around Hebron. 56 But the fields and villages around the city were given to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.
